Where Are You From?

Because I live here.

The first time I saw this I sorta chuckled at it a bit, especially the way who ever filmed this made my city look so friggin' clean -- but this morning I'm watching it again and you know what?
It ain't really that bad.
I don't know -- sometimes you stay in a place to long it's hard not to see it through the same set of eyes and think it's always one way or another. That's not to say that I've come to the decision that Freakville is suddenly Shangri-La or whatever, but sometimes it is a little easy to overlook things about this place. Either that or I'm just hungry -- and that crab boil is looking really damn good right about now.
Go ahead, girl -- do what you do.

Not for nothing, but the (I'm assuming) Dad in the Lakers jersey? Priceless.

It's good to be proud of where ya come from. When I need that, I listen to this: nekkid ladies

WIGSF -- Man, why you gotta be like that? That's like me telling you the best thing in the whole world is a foursome of brunettes.

They had fun making it, and that counts. "Southside's where we shop" is hilarious.

Still, Jacksonville needs a fast rapper to get it all down with style. That could be a thing.

And to be clear, it's 10 zillion times better than anything Jimmy Buffet ever shat out. Fuck that guy. Die Jimmy Buffet Die Die Die.

Wait, what was the topic?

Satorical -- Just wait until I get a hold of the new video my boys in Vendetta Nation just premiered the other day. Love it!

You're welcome.

The first time I watched it I was like "oh hell nawl. MonCRIEF!" It's funny, but it's also really cute. Jones College, tho? What? No Stanton or Fletcher? LMFAO.

UnMuse -- Stanton got a shoutout in the line with Paxon. But I think you're right about them missing out on Fletcher.

Some sort of northside beachside turf war, perhaps?

My parents are retiring to Neptune Beach in the next year or so, and I'm sure they'll be excited to hear that "country fat wid all the trimmin's" will be available.

Well, maybe just Dad.
